Who are we?

Informed Therapy Group (ITG) is a virtual therapy practice looking for two fully licensed therapists to join our collaborative, diverse, and fun team while doing what they love: helping people make meaningful changes in their lives. We specialize in transformative work to empower women to wellness during pregnancy, birth, and parenting (e.g., perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, birth trauma, fertility struggles). We specialize in work with individual clients and couples as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life transitions. We believe that the progress clients make in their lives stems from a safe and culturally responsive environment. At ITG, we see that remarkable change happens when clients feel truly seen and heard through a warm and responsive therapeutic alliance.

As an intimate practice you will not be “just a number” in a larger organization. Instead, you will be an integral part of a close-knit team and valued for your lived experiences and individuality. At ITG, we know that the most impactful change happens when clinicians feel supported in their own personal and professional growth. We strive to build an atmosphere that fosters authenticity, closeness, and collaboration.

As a fully self-pay practice, ITG does not work with insurance. That means doing the work you love without the hassle of dealing with insurance companies. We serve clients virtually in Georgia and PSYPACT participating states enabling you to get to work from the comfort of your own space.

At ITG, we are driven to have a diverse set of clinicians with the shared mission of bringing our services to all communities including those who hold marginalized identities including Black, People of Color (BIPOC) and gender, sexuality, or relationship minorities. We strongly encourage black, BIPOC, poly-affirming, and/ or LGBTQ+ therapists to apply.

What makes ITG unique:

The freedom to work in your own space.

ITG is a 100% virtual therapy practice, which means no longer having to commute to work or deal with traffic. You get to work wherever feels comfortable for you and this leaves you the freedom to design the look and feel of the space. You can work at home or while traveling. All you need is a HIPAA-compliant space that allows you to conduct uninterrupted therapy sessions and has a strong WiFi connection.

Being part of a team that is supportive.

ITG is passionate about bringing together a diverse group of clinicians that want to be a part of a group and gain the benefits of having colleagues to lean on for consultation and guidance. We have monthly team meetings where you will get to know one another and feel part of a community that cares about doing meaningful work with clients and supporting one another. This will allow you to feel less isolated and have your feelings and experiences normalized.

A community that values growth and provides opportunities for learning.

In addition to meeting monthly for personal and professional growth, several times per year ITG invites speakers to lead discussions about different specialties and treatment modalities. ITG provides a professional development stipend.

Flexible work schedule

You will be able to pick the hours that you provide services to clients. Not a morning person? That’s OK, there isn’t a set schedule. Start and finish your day based on your personal preferences and needs.

Autonomy

Don’t want to be micromanaged? Great, you manage your work, clients, and time according to what suits you best. There will not be someone breathing down your neck or micromanaging you. You will oversee your day-to-day operations.

Inclusivity

ITG is passionate about promoting cultural humility and cultural responsiveness where we strive towards evolving our self-awareness of ourselves, respect for others and increasing our knowledge around the identities of others. We understand that this is a never-ending process and not a goal that can be reached. We encourage our clinicians to have open dialogues about our commitment to anti-oppression and anti-racism within our company and within our work. If you want to be part of a team that has these deep, meaningful conversations, this is the opportunity for you!
